|
A form of regression analysis in which the dependent variable is measured on a nominal scale, in binary categories (i.e. the variable can take one of two values only: see logit). Because the transformation process uses natural logarithms, the regression coefficients are multiplicative, and their anti-logs are ratio measures (see measurement) of the rate of change in the dependent variable with a unit change in the relevant independent. (Cf. categorical data analysis.)Â (RJJ) |
